Buying Notes

Shorter pieces on the things that come up repeatedly in conversations with clinic owners. No treatment claims, no results photos — just the commercial side.

These are the shorter pieces — the questions that come up so often in conversations with clinic owners that it is quicker to write them down. No treatment claims, no results photos, no before-and-afters. Just the commercial side of buying and running an aesthetic machine.

If you are at the start of the process, the buyer-guide library is the better place to begin: it is organised by question, from what HIFU actually is through to the checklist to take into a supplier meeting.

Who these notes are for

Clinic and salon owners in India who are considering a machine purchase and want the commercial questions answered plainly — particularly the ones a supplier would rather leave until after the invoice.

What we will and will not publish here

We sell aesthetic equipment, so it is worth being explicit about the line we hold in these notes.

  • We do not state treatment outcomes, session counts, protocols or how long any result lasts. Those are clinical questions for a qualified practitioner.
  • We do not publish before-and-after images we cannot attribute to a specific machine and a consenting client.
  • We do not claim a category is certified — certification is held per model, and we will show you which certificate names your model.
  • We do not advertise discounts, and we do not use urgency to shorten your verification.

What is left is the commercial mechanics: consumables, warranty wording, supplier accountability and total cost of ownership. It is less exciting than a results photo and considerably more useful when you are signing for a machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are these published?

When there is something genuinely worth writing, rather than on a schedule. A thin post published to fill a calendar helps nobody.

Can I suggest a topic?

Yes — if you have a question about buying or running one of these machines that is not covered here, send it over. Good questions usually mean the page is missing.

Have a question that isn't covered?

Ask it directly. If it is a good question we will probably write it up.
